Ellen McAdon is co-founder of STRESS-LESS LIFESTYLES, Crisis Interventionist and Stress Management Practitioner. Prior to this position, Ellen had working experience in many areas. These include being a Commissioned Law Enforcement Officer in Texas and Louisiana for 30 years, a Nationally-accredited E.M.T.BASIC for 20 years in Texas and Louisiana, Mental Health Specialist, Mental Health Rehabilitation case worker, Family Mediation, Women’s Shelter case worker, Peer Supporter and Crisis Interventionist for Southern Law Enforcement Association, suicide and rape crisis hotline worker/responder, Peer Supporter and Educator on a Stress Management and Crisis Intervention team giving support to First Responders following Hurricane Rita's landfall in Southwest Louisiana in 2005.
Ellen has received extensive education in many diverse areas, including Stress Management, Crisis Intervention, Grief support, Mental Health challenges and support, theological education for ministry, psychology and criminal justice.
Her personal motto is "God first, Family second and Career third". When not working, she likes to travel, read, visit with friends and family and "just enjoy life and have fun!" . She has one son, Charles D. McAdon II who is a very special "light" in her life. Her extended family also has several "furbabies " : a dog named Annie Grace and six cats, all of which are loved and spoiled daily.
